Privacy Policy

Last updated: March 2026

This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices. We keep it short because we keep our practices simple.

What We Collect

The only personal information we collect is your email address, and only if you voluntarily sign up for our mailing list through Mailchimp. We do not require accounts, passwords, or payment information anywhere on this site.

Mailing List

Our mailing list is processed by Mailchimp (Intuit). When you sign up:

  • You provide your email address voluntarily.
  • If double opt-in is enabled for the audience, Mailchimp sends a confirmation email and you must click the link before being added to the list.
  • Every email includes an unsubscribe link so you can remove yourself at any time.
  • The mailing list is directed at adults (parents, caregivers, educators).

See Mailchimp's privacy policy for details on how they handle your data.

Coloring Pages Download

Our free coloring-page PDF is available at a public URL on this site. No personal information is required to view or download it, and the file is hosted on our own servers. After signing up for the mailing list you are shown a thank-you page with a link to this same public file.

Contact

Our contact page provides a mailto link. When you send an email, it is handled by the author's email provider. No contact data is stored on this website.

Analytics

We do not currently use analytics or tracking tools on this website.

Third-Party Services

This site relies on a small number of third-party services. Each may receive limited technical information (such as your IP address) when your browser makes requests to their servers.

  • Vercel — hosts this website. Vercel Privacy Policy
  • Mailchimp (Intuit) — processes mailing list signups. Intuit Privacy Statement
  • Mailchimp signup form — the newsletter form on this site submits directly to Mailchimp's servers. It does not currently load a separate Mailchimp JavaScript embed.
  • Google Fonts — fonts are loaded via a stylesheet link, so your browser makes requests directly to Google's servers. Google Privacy Policy

Children's Privacy

While our books are written for children, this website is intended for adults — parents, caregivers, and educators. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

The mailing list is directed at adults. If you believe a child has submitted personal information through our site, please contact us and we will promptly remove it.

Changes to This Policy

If our practices change, we will update this page and revise the "Last updated" date above.
